MAPS Researchers Lynn Martin and Hélène Ouellette-Kuntz receive funding from MCSS to study the evolving support needs of adults with IDD as they age in the community. Using population-level, they will examine changes in frailty and service use among home care recipients with IDD over time, and the extent to which these are different by place of residence (i.e., at home vs. group home setting).
From research to practice – Join MAPS for an interactive webinar from 11 am to noon on Feb 24, 2016 discussing implementation of a frailty measure for older home care users with IDD. For details and to register go to http://tinyurl.com/h476otu.
